A Cruel Law Just Passed in Turkey – Millions of Stray Dogs Are at Risk

On May 14, 2025, the Turkish government passed a law that will remove millions of stray dogs from the streets—with many likely to be euthanized or left to suffer in neglected public shelters. We've already witnessed horror stories: puppies killed alongside their mothers, dogs beaten to death, buried alive, or dragged away from volunteers who raised them since birth.

We are a small, independent rescue team based in London. We currently care for 40 beautiful dogs that we have raised with love and dedication since they were just babies. These dogs are not strays to us—they are our children. And now, their lives are in danger.

What We Are Trying to Do

We are urgently raising funds to:

Move all 40 dogs to safe private shelters before authorities seize them

Cover boarding, food, and vet care (including vaccines, microchips, passports)

Begin international adoption for each dog (UK, EU, US, and Canada)

Arrange safe travel and transport logistics

Provide full transparency: anyone can request receipts, updates, and even meet the dogs over a video call

These dogs were rescued from construction sites, abandoned lots, highways, and forests. Some were dumped in garbage bags. Some were born paralyzed. We nursed them, healed them, and gave them names, love, and hope.

Now we’re facing an impossible choice: hand them over to their deaths—or raise the funds to save them.

She has protected them with tireless devotion—feeding them from her own pocket, sheltering them through harsh winters, and keeping them safe while the world turned away. She is a true guardian of the voiceless.

Now, together, we are racing against time to save them from being taken to government-run shelters where euthanasia or suffering is almost guaranteed. Our goal is to move them to safe boarding facilities, provide full vet care, and begin international adoption.

We will:
