A Single Mom of Four — Fight Stage 4 Colon Cancer After Beating Breast Cancer
Our sister-in-law Angelines “Angie” Yaport is a fighter. She is a loving, devoted single mother of four boys (ages 6, 9, 10, and 20) who is now facing something no one should ever have to endure: a new diagnosis of Stage 4 Colon Cancer, just months after beating Breast Cancer in January 2025.
In 2024, at only 41 years old, Angie was diagnosed with breast cancer and bravely underwent a bilateral mastectomy for aggressive treatment and protection from recurrence after losing multiple family members to breast cancer. She pushed through treatment, recovered, and finally allowed herself to breathe again… until new symptoms appeared. In October 2025, she was given the devastating news that she now has Stage 4 Colon Cancer.
Angie would never ask for help on her own. She is fiercely independent — the kind of mom who works nonstop, shows up for every need her boys have, and quietly carries far more than anyone realizes. But two cancer diagnoses in two years would break even the strongest person, and we want to rally together to hold her up the way she has always held up her family.
Because she used so much of her time off during her breast cancer treatment, needing additional time away now means either making up missed hours while managing the side effects of chemotherapy or going on disability — which would result in a significant reduction in her income. Her job has been wonderfully supportive in giving her the time she needs, but bills don’t stop for cancer. Angie is now beginning aggressive, exhausting treatment while still trying to cook meals, help with homework, keep routines stable, and shield her boys from the fear she carries silently every day.
This is more than one person — or one family — can bear alone.
Medical bills, transportation, childcare, lost income, and everyday expenses are piling up fast. Our hope is to give Angie the financial breathing room she needs so she can focus on the fight of her life and on being here for her children.
Your support will help cover:
