My beloved Wife, Kristen Fletes, is a devoted, 31-year-old mother to our bright and loving autistic 2-year-old boy. Over the past year, she’s faced more challenges than most of us could imagine. Our family has endured, not only emotional and physical hardships, but financial losses as well- even so, I have seen her meet all of it with courage and grace, but now we are desperately in need of your help.

Over the last few years, Kristen was diagnosed with several serious health conditions some of which are Neuropathic Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS), Mast Cell Activation Syndrome, Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD), Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, Gallstones, Chronic Kidney and Liver Disease, Repeated Epiglottitis and Lingual Tonsil Swelling, Osteogenesis Imperfecta, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, Pelvic Congestion Syndrome, Uterine Hyperplasia, and even at one time sepsis. Many of these resulted in multiple surgeries and removal of certain organs, and unfortunately, many close encounters with death. As of Sep 2025, she was diagnosed with two types of Thyroid Cancer, one more invasive and aggressive than the other, which unfortunately spread to other organs and areas of the body. Despite everything, she continues to fight hard every day for her health and our family.

She recently underwent surgery to remove her thyroid and Lymph nodes and is now going to be undergoing radiation therapy and possibly more surgeries as part of her cancer treatment. These treatments, while essential, have made it difficult for us to maintain a steady income — especially while caring for our young son who unfortunately, shares some of these genetic disorders (EDS, MCAS, Osteogenesis Imperfecta) and requires care not always covered by our insurance; along with paying for treatment of her other health conditions.

This GoFundMe was created to help relieve some of the financial strain during this difficult time. Donations will go directly toward groceries, bills, travel expenses, medical expenses for her and our son, childcare, and daily living costs so Kristen can focus on what matters most: healing and being with her family.
