My name is Caleb Andrews, and I’m raising funds for my soon-to-be mother-in-law, a dedicated single mother who suffered a brain bleed this past week.
Last Friday, February 28th, she suddenly experienced a severe headache and vision loss. She was rushed to the ER in Amory and later airlifted to Tupelo due to ambulance delays. By early Saturday morning, she was in the Critical Care Unit, where doctors discovered she had suffered a brain hemorrhage. While relieved that it wasn’t an aneurysm or tumor, her medical team was baffled, as she had no prior health concerns.
She spent several days in the hospital, undergoing tests and treatment. Due to an oversight in her discharge process, she was kept an extra day, adding to the mounting medical costs. Now, a couple days after leaving the hospital, she still has limited vision and is unable to return to work. She will begin therapy within a month, but her recovery timeline remains uncertain.
We are raising funds to help cover her hospital bills, including the cost of the emergency flight and extended stay. Our goal is to ease the financial burden so she can focus on healing without the added stress of overwhelming medical debt.
Any donation, big or small, will make a meaningful difference. If you’re unable to contribute, sharing this fundraiser would also be a tremendous help. Thank you for your support!
