My name is Jessie Gawan.

A family friend and a co-worker Benjie Tamayo (Ben) and Alice Dotimas Ocampo, a caring parents and nurses working at LNWH, is going through the most devastating loss imaginable, the sudden passing of their precious daughter Kristyl Tamayo.

Nothing prepares a parent for such heartbreak. As they tries to navigate their grief, they are also carrying the heavy worry of how to bring their daughter back to their home country so she can be laid to rest among family, loved ones, and the culture she belongs to. The costs involved are overwhelming, and this burden has come at a time when they are already emotionally exhausted.

This is someone who has spent his life caring for others, offering comfort and compassion to patients in their most vulnerable moments. Today, they need that same compassion.

We are hoping to raise funds to help ease this financial strain and allow them to focus on grieving and honouring their daughter’s memory. Every donation, no matter the amount, will help make a meaningful difference.
