Hey Friends!
As many of you know, I have had a battle with Sickle Cell Disease all of my life. Despite the unpredictable, debilitating crises I’ve experienced over the years, I have still managed to earn both my UG degree from Saint Mary’s College and a Master’s degree from the University of Notre Dame, along with earning a wonderful professional role. Unfortunately, in the past few months, the sickle cell crises have become more frequent due to me sadly experiencing a miscarriage. This also unfortunately caused me to lose my job due to the hospitalizations, and today, I find myself in a position I never expected: potentially facing losing the home I have loved for years. I have been maintaining my home since I moved into my place my sophomore year at Saint Mary’s College, on top of working full time jobs throughout all of my educational career and post graduation. My apartment is all I have and all that I know, I can not afford to lose my place. Any support of any kind would be greatly appreciated to help me to keep my home and stop the eviction that I am facing. God bless you all and thank you so kindly for all of your help.
