Hello friends. First off, thank you for taking the time to hear our story.
We are a large family. We have 8 children in our care at all times ranging from age 14-3mo. We own our home and are only 7 years away from completing our mortgage.
In 2023 my spouse got what we thought was a simple injury. After a year and a half of rehab, surgeries, and multiple doctors he was pronounced permanently disabled at 34 years old. We have been waiting for disability to come through but as we all know, it's a lengthy and time consuming process. He's been working part time to help make up that difference. As stubborn and determined as he is, he hasn't let his disability slow down his adventures with the children. We still go on outings and adventures as often as possible.
I am working a wonderful job that takes great care of me and mine but sometimes it just isn't quite enough. We have a soon to be 4 month old baby and that pregnancy was unexpected and extremely hard on me. I was ordered to stay on bedrest for nearly all of it. I had just finished my sterilization surgery and got back to work. My spouse and I work opposite shifts so we can get in as much as we can while also getting as much quality time with our kids as possible.

Unfortunately we have fallen pretty behind on our mortgage. Thankfully our lending company has been very forgiving but we are officially 4 months behind. All other bills are current and we are able to keep them that way. We are building credit but currently do not qualify for any loans. He can get back into college and he's been approved for a few grants but, he has 733$ that he needs to pay off to the college first. At this point we are just hoping for a lending hand from our community and people that might just know what we are facing in life right now. If you made it this far we greatly appreciate your time.
