PLEASE Help a Denville Family Rebuild After Losing Everything

It’s hard to put into words how quickly life can change.

One moment, everything is normal—kids playing, routines moving along, another day in a loving home. And the next… everything is gone.

A family I’ve known for many years—one I’ve had the privilege of coaching their child on the baseball field—is now facing that exact reality.

Due to a devastating event, they lost their home. Inside it was everything they built their life around—clothes, memories, keepsakes collected over years… even their beloved pets. Things that can never truly be replaced.

And yet, through it all, there is one miracle we are holding onto:

They all made it out safely.

A mother and father, and their three children—ages 14, 10, and just 2 years old—are together. They still have each other. And right now, that’s everything.

But they are starting over from nothing.

No home. No belongings. Just the clothes they were able to leave with, and the weight of figuring out what comes next.

If you’ve ever been part of the Denville community, you know what makes it special. We show up for each other. We rally. We lift people when they need it most.

This family has always been part of that fabric—on the fields, in our community, in our lives. Now it’s our turn to be there for them.

We’re asking the Denville community, our baseball family, and anyone who can help to come together and support them as they begin the long road of rebuilding.
