Help a Dedicated Volunteer Recover from Motorcycle Accident

I am the Co-Founder and Vice President for the Patriot Riders of America WI Chapter 2, a 501c3 nonprofit organization here to support our Military, Veterans and their families.

On Sunday, October 20th, 2024 I was in a single motorcycle accident after making impact with a pothole/dip/uneven road.

Please know, I do not drink and ride and I follow the speed limits when riding.

Before I could react, I had hit the pothole and I went airborne along with my motorcycle. I was barely able to hold on to the handlebars and almost went over the front of them. I remember taking a very hard slam back down unto the seat of my bike. I don't remember getting safely to the side of the road or putting my kickstand down. I do remember being in so much pain, I couldn't move or lift my leg to get off the bike. I do not know how much time has passed by before I called Tommy for help and no one stopped to ask me if I was OK.

Yesterday, October 25th, 2024, I required 2 back surgeries: 1. Full infusion and rods in the lower lumber area. 2. T5-T12 full infusion, screws and pins. Plus plates and spacers in in a few areas the discs removed. However, for reasons still unknown they stopped after one surgery because it was unsafe to proceed.

I'm not one to ask but I will need help. I donate all my time and resources to my nonprofit organization, Patriot Riders of America WI Chapter 2 and our Veterans in our communities. I don't have any resources to fall back on to cover my expenses.

I know everyone is struggling these days, but I promise I will and do give back to our community.
