I have no income coming in since June 2025. I need help.

Hi my Family, friends and my USPS family, I've been a Rural Carrier for 28 years at USPS and I serviced several routes but my favorite was my business route of 22 years until March of 2023. If you are a rural carrier you know what happened. I went from a K46 all the way down to a H35. I had a route built on pickups. Right after my income dropped by 35 - 40%. I started using my savings to pay my monthly bills. In August of 2023 I was diagnosed with Bels Palsy (doctors said stress and heat brought it on). I was off work for 4 months. When I returned to work I had the chance to bid on a different route and was awarded the new route. The pay was a better. August 2, 2024 I stepped out of my LLV onto a uneven rock and gravel road and over extended my leg and tore my meniscus. The doctors told me I had to have surgery, so November 6, 2024 I had Meniscal repair surgery. As I'm recovering I'm telling my therapist something still hurts..all to find out in a new MRI that I have another tear in my meniscus and acl. I have to have another surgery. Im still off work and I won't be able to return until I have the second surgery. Not to mention im fighting with workers comp. I only filled because I don't want to lose my route. I would've never thought i would still be off work....If you hurt yourself BUMP, KICK, TRIP OR FALL or even TWIST any body part.. PLEASE REPORT IT, you never know how bad it could be.
