Help a Dedicated Title I Teacher Empower Her Students PLEASE
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Nikki Smith, and I’m a passionate educator at a Title I school where the majority of our students face significant economic challenges. Every day, I walk into my classroom knowing that my students are bright, resilient, and full of potential—they just need the tools and support to thrive.
Unfortunately, limited school funding means many essential resources—like classroom supplies, books, learning tools, and technology tools —fall on us as teachers to provide. Each year, I spend hundreds (sometimes thousands) of dollars out of my own pocket to make sure my students have what they need. This year, I’m turning to my community for help.
Our school district provides Chromebooks for every child—an incredible resource that opens the door to interactive learning, reading support, and educational games.
But here’s the challenge:
Many of our students don’t have headphones.
Or the ones they do have break early in the year—and it makes a huge difference in how they learn.
Your support will go directly toward:
Classroom supplies (notebooks, pencils, crayons, etc.)
Books that reflect and celebrate the diversity of my students
Hands-on learning materials and manipulatives
Art supplies to foster creativity and self-expression
Technology tools and resources
Every donation, no matter the amount, makes a difference. You’re not just helping me—you’re investing in a group of students who deserve every opportunity to succeed.
Thank you for supporting public education, equity, and the future of these amazing kids.
With gratitude,
Nikki L. Smith
