Help a Dedicated Teacher Move Back Home to Rebuild Her Life

Hi, my name is Shaunicere` Jones, and I am fundraising for relocation back to my hometown.

For the past seven years, I have been living in Las Vegas, a city that has come to feel like home. I have dedicated myself to my work as a teacher, striving to make a positive impact on my students' lives. However, the cost of living in Las Vegas has increased substantially, making it increasingly difficult to survive on a teacher's salary.

To keep up with the rising expenses, I have been forced to take out loans, which has resulted in extreme debt. Despite my best efforts to manage my finances and improve my situation on my own, I continue to struggle. Taking out another loan is not an option due to my poor credit and unpaid balances, which is why I decided on the crowdfunding route. I have reached out to my family for help one too many times, and I feel guilty asking for more since they have already supported me. I know the only way to improve my situation is to live somewhere affordable.

After much consideration, I have made the difficult decision to leave Las Vegas and move back to my hometown of Topeka, Kansas. This decision was not made lightly, as Las Vegas has been my home for so long. I have made amazing friends, found a job and team I love, and started dancing again. However, the financial strain has become too overwhelming, and I can no longer afford to stay.

Moving back to Topeka will help me rebuild my credit, be closer to family, and live affordably. Your support will not only help me relocate but also give me the stability to continue my passion for teaching and contributing to the community.
