Why?

Hey everyone! As a junior high teacher working with a diverse group of students who have different needs, tablets can really change the classroom experience! For the last three years, I've been using a clipboard with a checklist to check for understanding, but it's not very efficient. Being able to check for understanding on the go is super important and helps me assess students without the interruptions of pencils and paper. As a mom of three and someone who's working on my Master's in Literacy Instruction, having a tablet, separate from my personal account, makes it so much easier to take my learning with me wherever I go without all that bulk.

Why Microsoft?

While I would really love to get an iPad, both my workplace and school primarily use Google apps. Having a Microsoft program would definitely simplify things for me, as I wouldn't have to deal with purchasing and installing Microsoft apps on Apple devices. Plus, I can easily sign in to my educational account and access everything I need without any hassle.

Funds raised will go towards the tablet, cover, and keyboard.
