Hello friends and fellow animal lovers, I come to you today asking for help. It is not easy to do so, but having my card declined at the grocery store last night (only 8 days after payday) was a shock to my system. This past year, I rescued 2 dogs and 3 cats to join me and my longtime companion dog (Lou, pictured). While my home and heart are full, my bank account is not even though I have a full-time job. I’ve been a teacher in Oklahoma for 18 years with a Master’s degree in Education. Even still, I spend the last week (or more sometimes) of every month with zero or negative dollars in my bank account.

If you have a few dollars to spare, I would greatly appreciate the hand up so I can start 2025 out of the hole.
