Hello everyone!
I am a junior in college with a full time job currently going to UNF for my bachelors degree in biomedical sciences. I do not live on campus and currently commute to school and work everyday. Today on my way to school my car suddenly stopped working and I began coasting on the main road, I was able to get to the side of the road safely and got it towed into a local shop. There I was informed that I need a new transmission for my car because the one that I have is pretty much just scrap metal at this point.
I got this car in 2023 and was smart enough to buy a warranty, unfortunately I am 2,000 miles over the warranty so it does not help me at all. The transmission itself is $3200 and then the labor cost and tax pushes the total to just about $5000 (not including the Ubers I'm going to have to pay for).
So I ask, please donate what you can any small amount counts!
