Hello!
I am a student in the Middle College of Forsyth program. I maintain a spot on the President's List with a GPA of 4.38. I am a member of two honor societies, namely Phi Theta Kappa and the National Society of High School Scholars programs. I am the child of an educator and an army veteran, both of whom spend their time working hard to give me every chance at new opportunities they possibly can.
I was invited to the National Youth Leadership Forum for the Law and CSI pathway. I have always held law and forensic investigation, specifically psychology, close to my heart. Being able to understand people at our core has always intrigued me, and I wish to pioneer the ever-changing research towards unlocking this capability. Along with that, being able to help people is what makes taking on law my passion. My sense of justice drives me to stand up passionately for what is right and argue such an opinion with nothing but pride. While at Middle College, I pushed myself to take our college-level Forensic Psychology course to deepen and enrich this passion, much as this opportunity at the University of Maryland would.
However, I lack the resources to fully realize this dream. Considering my family circumstances, they have poured all they can into giving me a push in the right direction. I am asking for your financial assistance to chase after my passion and give me hands-on experience with a future career. Hopefully, with the aid of kind people like you, this goal will be met by June 30th!
