Help a Dedicated Parent Get Back to Work

I'm trying to get my transmission fixed. I have no transportation at the moment and with 5 kids it's been a pain having to walk everywhere. I rely solely on myself, and I feel like I've let my kids down because I haven't been able to work since it broke down. It's been a tremendous struggle. The gentleman at the Transmasters shop in Oak hill has been very kind and letting me make payments to him but I can't get the truck out until the bill is paid in full. I clean houses in winter and do landscaping in the summer and have not been able to make money since the truck broke down, so I'm stuck. The total bill is about $3,400 but so far I've paid it down to about $2,800. At the pace I'm going, I won't be able to get it out for months. This is awkward, humiliating and uncomfortable for me, because I don't believe in asking for things. My friends suggested I make this, so I'm swallowing my pride. My kids and I have been stuck in the house for months. We have to walk to the gas station to get things almost everyday. I am tired of not being able to get them to their doctors, attend school events, or simply go to the store. I can't work until the truck is out. I need to work, I need to be able to earn money to take care of my kids, repairs on my house and bills. We are on a stand still. I can get back to earning money after having transportation back. A few people have mentioned I should get a new vehicle instead of paying for this transmission. This truck means a lot to me and my kids. I bought it off of an individual after driving a half broken down vehicle and after driving it for roughly 70 miles the transmission went out. The transmission rebuild comes with a 36k mile warranty. That's the main reason I chose this particular shop. Also because the gentleman at this shop was very understanding and the only one local who would let me leave the truck there and make payments. Everything else on the truck is fine. Don't be mean please, it's hard enough doing this. I'm just trying to get it out so I can start making money and living normal again. I will post pictures of the receipts towards the mechanic if anyone is able to donate. Thank you so much.
