Help a Dedicated Nurse With Defense Attorney and Expenses

Hello, I am a good friend of one of the nurses , Kamesha, currently mixed up in the situation that happened at Colonial Heights Healthcare, the nursing home that has received a lot of press this month. I used to work at the facility as a CNA and worked so short-staffed that I couldn’t perform proper care. Years later, I came back as an RN nurse manager, and I left after a month because nothing had changed and it was a lot to be responsible for and felt like a liability especially with the short staffing and complaints. Kamesha stayed, she told me that she wanted to stay to help make the facility better and help pass state inspection. She constantly reported things, that she was advised against reporting and this caused a wedge between her and higher management. She finally left in August, and she was hospitalized for blood clots and was out of work for a few months. This situation happened a few months later, and even though she wasn’t working there, they had her listed as the DON and she is fighting to clear her name and get her kids back, who were taken away because of this situation. I can’t go into details because it’s an active case, but in the end you will know the truth. She is a good person with the biggest heart and will give you her last and the shirt off her back. She is a Foster mom of 2 and took in 1 of her nieces, a great friend, sister and loves her 3 fur babies. I am making this fundraiser to help her with her lawyer fees and bills. With the nature and high profile of this case, the lawyer is very expensive and also she isn’t allowed to work until she is proven innocent. Please find it in your heart to donate and share.
