Hello, and thank you for reading about this fundraiser. I am trying to raise money for a coworker of mine. She's a hard-working nurse, single mother, and sole caregiver to a special needs son. She works tirelessly to get help with her son's care so she can go to work but is running into roadblock after roadblock. These circumstances are beyond her control, but she still fights every day for the care her son deserves and to be given the time to go to work to provide for herself and her son. Without her son's allotment of care hours, she is unable to go to work as her son needs full time supervision. She is waiting for insurance approval, school approval, and medical evaluations for her son to be able to return to school so she can return to work. She only fights to be able to provide, and her efforts are stymied at every turn. Any help is greatly appreciated as she is unsure if she will be out of work for a week, a month, or even longer. Even then she can only work the amount of hours insurance approves. She has only been allowed to work 4-6 hours a day since December and sometimes it's less than that.
