Hello, I am a 27 year old emergency dispatcher. I live with my sweet cats. My roommate has run out on our lease, and I am currently struggling financially, as my debt payments are making it impossible to afford my monthly bills on my own. I live in a high rent area, and there aren't any rentable places that are affordable for me anywhere nearby. I have two credit cards that I've stopped using in the last year and a loan. I'm unable to lower my monthly payments. The total payments equal about half of my rent, and my savings account has dwindled in my attempts to keep up with payments. I desperately don't want to move because I love where I live and I love my work and the people I work with. If I wasn't in debt, it would allow me the luxury of being able to pay my bills, and hopefully keep me from losing my home. I just need help and I don't know what to do.
