Why I’m Doing This
In 2022, my life changed completely. I was diagnosed with heart failure, and by the time it was discovered I was close to dying. That moment hits you like nothing else. Suddenly everything you thought was guaranteed… isn’t. What followed was relentless:
• Countless hospital appointments
• Tests after tests
• Injections
• Medications
• Learning to live with fear, uncertainty, and physical limits But I refused to let it be the end of my story.
I pushed. Hard. Slowly, painfully at times, I fought my way through and came out the other side determined to get on with living, not just surviving. Then came another blow. I was diagnosed with a brain tumour, which causes me daily headaches, chronic migraines, and other ongoing issues. I’m still going through scans, tests, and appointments while doctors decide what the next steps are. It would’ve been easy to stop. Easy to say “maybe one day”. Easy to let fear win. But that’s exactly why I’m doing this. The Trip I’m riding my motorbike from Scotland to Spain. This trip is about pushing myself physically and mentally, proving to myself — and hopefully to others — that nothing has to hold you back, even when life throws its worst at you. It’s not about ignoring health issues or pretending everything’s fine. It’s about choosing to live fully despite them. Along the way, I’ll be documenting the entire journey honestly:
• The highs
• The hard days
• The fear
• The freedom
• The real moments in between
I want this journey to show that you don’t have to wait for the “perfect” time or perfect health to chase something meaningful. Why I’m Asking for Support Any support raised will go towards making this trip and the content possible:

• Sharing the journey properly as it unfolds
