A little help while I keep fighting to get back to work
Hi everyone,
This is one of the hardest things I’ve had to write, but after encouragement from others I’ve decided to ask for a little help while I continue doing everything I can to get back into work.
Over the past few months I’ve been actively job hunting every day — applying for roles, speaking with agencies, attending interviews and chasing feedback. My background is mainly in recruitment, candidate management and sourcing, but I’ve also been applying for administrative roles, retail, warehouse work and anything that will help bring stability back to my household.
I’m ready and available for permanent, contract, temporary or remote work and can start immediately.
Unfortunately the current job market has meant things are taking longer than expected, and during that time the financial pressure has been building. Rent arrears are starting to creep up, utilities are always close to the limit, and basic household costs are becoming harder to manage.
As a dad, my biggest focus is making sure my little girl has what she needs — food in the kitchen, clothes as she grows, and a stable home environment. That responsibility doesn’t stop, even when things get difficult.
I have reached out to local support services and foodbanks where possible, but many are overwhelmed right now and can only help so much.
This fundraiser is simply to help bridge the gap while I continue pushing forward with interviews and applications. Any support would go towards essentials like rent, utilities, food and basic household needs.
If you’re able to help in any way, no matter how small, it would mean more than I can properly express. And if donating isn’t possible, sharing this page or keeping me in mind for work opportunities would help just as much.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and for any support you’re able to give.
I’m determined to get back on my feet and into work as soon as possible.
