I am a teacher in Columbia Heights and my student is one of the 4 students detained by ICE earlier this week as he was on his way to school. His family, a mother with 2 children and her niece, really need help during this time. They had to borrow money for an attorney to help their son, and now they don't have enough for rent or to pay back their lender.

For security and privacy, they asked we do not share their personal information or pictures, but we are hoping to raise money to help them survive this crisis. Any contribution is greatly appreciated.

Soy profesora en Columbia Heights y uno de mis alumnos es uno de los cuatro estudiantes detenidos por el ICE a principios de esta semana cuando se dirigía al colegio. Su familia, una madre con dos hijos y su sobrina, necesita ayuda en estos momentos. Han tenido que pedir dinero prestado para pagar a un abogado que ayude a su hijo y ahora no tienen suficiente para pagar el alquiler ni devolver el préstamo.
