Hi everyone,

My name is Ja’Kiera Jones, and I’m a junior in college working hard toward my degree in journalism and media studies while also competing as a student-athlete. Recently, I was in a serious car accident that completely totaled my vehicle and destroyed my phone. While I’m incredibly grateful to be okay, this accident has left me without the basic tools I need to continue my education and athletic responsibilities.

I live off-campus and now have no consistent way to get to and from school, practice, or even run errands. Without a car or phone, day-to-day life has become extremely difficult. As an athlete, my schedule is full with classes, training, and games, which makes it nearly impossible to take on a job at the moment.

I’m reaching out and asking for support from my community, friends, and anyone willing to help during this tough time. All funds will go toward helping me get a reliable vehicle, a replacement phone, and covering basic transportation needs while I get back on my feet.
