Hi everyone! My name is Ruby.

I'm a permanently bedridden & chronically ill person from the Netherlands. I've been stuck in my room for the last few years, with dwindling hope of making it much longer. It's been hard not being able to do much, and it's done a lot of damage to my mental health.

Recently, however, a chance has arisen to be able to visit some of my close friends in Texas. Me and my fiancé are both really excited, as are my friends. Especially since this might be the only chance I'll ever get to actually achieve some of my dreams, and meet the people I care about in person. But the problem is, we don't have the funds.

So, consider this a cry for help. These expenses would cover plane tickets, hotel, food, and possibly a little bit of a shopping budget for a one-week stay in Texas, for me and my fiancé. If you have the ability to, it would mean a lot if you could spare some money to make this dream a reality.

We plan for the trip to be in June.
