Help please to relocate my child’s medical care!

Dearest family, friends, and community,

If you’re unable to donate, simply sharing this fundraiser can help spread the word. Our little family has experienced a difficult decision in having to relocate. We need your support more than ever. No contribution is too small, and every bit of support will make a difference. Please consider donating and/or sharing this campaign with others to help give the us a chance to begin our next phase of healing.

This decision to move came abruptly as their eye exam for glasses came up abnormal. They were referred to a specialist but are unable to be seen. So we need to move on even if it means leaving our family and friends temporarily…

Ralph the Dinosaur (their little hand), mama, and big brother want to let you know that we are in good spirits! However, as much as it breaks my heart into a million pieces we have to relocate for more advanced medical care.

This transfer is crucial for our loved and cherished child’s health and for addressing their complex medical needs.

We have hope in our hearts!!

I do not have social media but I have asked my family and friends to help share. If you are receiving this GoFundMe request, it is because we are related by family or friend, or because we crossed paths and you made an extra special impact in our lives and we love and appreciate the time you are taking to read this and share.

My lil one was diagnosed at the age of 7 with a benign brain tumor and after several years of unsuccessful treatment they underwent emergency surgery to remove it after it grew to the point that it was causing damage to their eyes and other debilitating health conditions. We need to get them care ASAP because we are trying to prevent further damage to their eyes and other health problems.

I have been on my own balancing being a single parent, working, and medical care for my disabled child for a very long time, and so I’m finally asking for help because moving on my own is a different challenge. My 2011 SUV is calling it quits, so higher rent, utilities, and car payment may pose a challenge with my fixed income. This is where my faith comes in because im doing the best that I can.

My child’s quality of life is the most important factor, and so advanced medical care is what it appears they need due to the complexity of their health conditions. There are currently undiagnosed symptoms, but this is what we can share so far…

They are currently homeschooled and experience significant challenges, including occasional speech difficulties, an inability to be in public, and difficulty walking for extended periods. Their vision is distorted, and they struggle to make eye contact with others. They also have severe light sensitivity and occasional insomnia. Additionally, they suffer from both short-term and long-term memory loss; they require constant reminders.

When in general public, they often hide behind or stay close to their mama, unable to be away for more than an hour. Social interaction is difficult, and they struggle to make friends.

They are currently awaiting approval of Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) treatment as traditional therapy has not been effective. They have had adverse reactions to SSRIs. They also exhibit mixed hormonal ideation related to their birth gender, a development that began during the 3rd year of puberty blocker treatment, they first voiced concerns at age 10, they will be 14 this year.

With all the love in our hearts, please help us, please help get them there. Thank you and God bless you and especially great big hugs to you and yours!

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for being part of our journey.
