Danis, my 6 year old nephew is living with Hemophilia in Guatemala. This rare blood disorder is life-threatening.  Typical childhood events for Danis will likely require a hospital stay.  A simple fall could result in bleeding that can lead to more life-threatening circumstances including bleeding in the brain.

When treatment requires hospitalization, Danis and my sister Tania must stay at the hospital longer since they live more than three hours away by using public transportation.  Each emergency is life-threatening and every minute is critical in getting help and your donations will help Danis and his family deal with this medical condition.

Danis is at a constant risk of injury, therefore he is unable to attend school.  With constant doctor visits and extended hospital stays both now and most likely in the future, my family is raising money.  Our goal is to raise $50,000.  The money that is raised will be used to help to pay for medical expenses, transportation needs and homeschooling primarily.
