Hollywood Studio of Dance is a nonprofit entity organized to provide enrichment opportunities for the economically disadvantaged youth in the inner city of north Minneapolis. In an effort to increase participation and enhance appreciation for the performing arts, this program is poised to reach the frequently excluded but not disinterested clientele.
We offer youth of all ages top quality dance instruction in a nurturing environment, emphasizing self-esteem, cultural pride, artistic growth and commitment to one's self.
Majority of students come from single family households who are struggling to just sustain basis family needs, leaving little or no disposable income for their children to participate in extra-curricular activities.
Your support will play a major role in the transformation of the youth in north Minneapolis helping us turn unproductive, unsupervised kids with too much time for getting into trouble to one that provides youth with valuable structured performing art programming.
The money you donate will help students participate in the program without the worry of the cost to attend and reduce class fees for those who can afford to pay a portion.
Here are three different ways you can help us reach our $10,000 goal:
1. If 2,000 people donate $5, we can raise the 10,000
2. If 1,000 people donate $10, we can raise the $10,00
3. If 500 people donate $20.00, we can raise the $10,000
