Help a Nurse, Mom of Twins, and Golden Soul Get the Care She Deserves

I’m starting this GoFundMe for my best friend — a mother of twins, a nurse who has spent her career caring for others, and one of the most selfless, generous humans I know.

For a long time now, she has been living with debilitating symptoms that have deeply affected her quality of life. She has done everything right — countless doctor visits, specialists, tests, labs, and appointments — all while raising twins and continuing to show up for others. Despite all of that effort, she’s still without answers or relief.

Recently, she was referred to a highly respected dysautonomia specialist in NYC, Horacio Kaufman. This is one of the only specialists within reach who may finally be able to help connect the dots. Unfortunately, his practice does not accept insurance.

The cost is overwhelming:

• $2,400 for the initial consultation

• $720 per follow-up visit

• $5,000 total to cover the initial visit and three follow-ups

As a nurse and mom, she would never ask for this kind of help herself — which is why I’m asking on her behalf. She deserves the same care, compassion, and chance at healing that she has given to so many others.
