My neighbor and friend has always been the kind of person who opens her doors to others, even when she’s facing her own struggles. She’s a single mother of two who lost her husband two years ago, and since then, life has thrown challenge after challenge her way. Recently, she was in a terrible car crash that left her hospitalized for a long time, with her body broken and her spirit tested. She tried to buy a car for her daughter, hoping to make things a little easier, but it was taken by authorities the very same day. On top of all this, people she tried to help ended up taking advantage of her kindness, leaving her without support and even stealing from her.
