Help a Single Mom Recover from Emergency Surgery
Hi everyone,
I’m reaching out to ask for your help in supporting a dear friend and colleague of mine. She was recently told by her doctors that she needs emergency surgery for a slipped disc in her neck that is pressing dangerously on her spinal cord. This is a critical procedure, and her recovery will take 2-3 months. Her surgery is scheduled for April 30th.
Unfortunately, during this time, she will be unable to work, and she doesn’t qualify for worker’s compensation to cover her expenses. As someone who already works two jobs to make ends meet, this recovery period poses a significant financial challenge for her and her children.
My friend is always the first to step up and help others. She’s the one who makes sure students at our school have shoes and clothes that fit, gives rides to those in need, and finds ways to help out even while juggling her own responsibilities. Now, she needs our help to get through this difficult time.
The funds raised will go toward:
-Rent and utility bills
-Car note and car Insurance
-Cell phone bill
-Groceries and essential items for her family
-Medical expenses and any additional recovery-related costs
Your support—no matter how big or small—can make a huge difference for her and her kids. Given everything that is going on around us, we need to be there for each other as a community. Let’s come together to help someone who’s always helping others. If you can’t donate, please consider sharing this campaign with your network.
Thank you for your kindness. We want her to be able to focus on healing without the added stress of financial uncertainty.
