Help a Cancer Survivor Secure Reliable Transportation

Hello anyone who can help. I have had a rough year, as I am sure many of you have. After going through Cancer Treatment over the last year, I found out I needed a very difficult surgery to help fix the effects of Chemo and Radiation therapies. The process required removing my right lower jaw and most of my teeth, then grafting bone and muscle from my Scapula area of my left shoulder. That has left me disabled for now and no clear sight of when or if I will be able to return to my regular work. On top of that I had to replace my HVAC system, a new roof, a new fence which were all needed for my family’s safety. As of the day after Christmas and week before my birthday; my car’s engine failed. I have spent over 40,000 in safety home upgrades and 10,000’s in medical expenses. I am so lucky to rely on family and friends to drive me to appointments; but having my own car is what is needed for my unknown future. I need a safe car for the whole family, as we are all going through a health crisis right now. I have a small amount of money to keep the family afloat until something changes in my health. I am afraid I cannot take care of my family without either fixing my current car for 7000 or try to get a newer safer car. This is a very difficult time to ask for help. I could use any amount of contributions to put forward to either fixing my current car or get some money for a down payment. Reliable transportation has been critical to my health. I currently finished Hyperbaric chamber therapy, which is 5 days a week and 4 hours for the appointment. I have more therapy to come and future surgery. Again, anything would help my family and continue keeping my family safe. If I can raise even just a little; it would make my holiday and birthday. I have had a rough 3 years battle if cancer. I am really hoping 2025 will see continued health for myself and family; as well as, anyone suffering with uncertainty and fear during this season.
