Help a cancer patient from being homeless
Donation protected
Hi everyone, we are fundraising to help our friend Sandy who has been hit hard with acute myeloid leukemia. She is unable to work, has week-long chemo and the other weeks has 2-3 outpatient visits a week for blood and platelets. All this until January when she will need a stem cell transplant, which means 3-4 weeks in the hospital, then home with a 24 hour caregiver for 3months. Her saint of a neighbor has been so kind to help her with her french bulldog whose back legs are paralyzed and requires diaper changes several times a day. It’s a blessing she has a few good people in her life to help her at home and with her pets. But she is now at risk of eviction from her home because rent is behind and soc sec takes time to get going. We would love to eliminate her stress of eviction and get her rent paid for a few months so she can focus on getting better. We and she would be so grateful for any help! Hoping for a holiday miracle!!!!!!
