> Hello everyone,
My name is Sawitree Phachao, and I am from Thailand. My husband, Shane Valente, is a Canadian citizen who has been living with me in Udon Thani, Thailand.
A few weeks ago, he was in a serious motorcycle accident that left him with a badly broken leg. Doctors said he needs urgent surgery to insert metal plates to save his leg and help him walk again.
Unfortunately, the cost of surgery and hospitalization is far beyond what we can afford. Local hospitals in Udon Thani and Khon Kaen refused to operate without payment upfront, and the Canadian Embassy has not yet been able to provide financial help.
We are doing everything we can — contacting charities, hospitals, and organizations — but time is running out. He is now resting at home, in pain, waiting for a chance to receive proper treatment before his condition gets worse.
We are asking for help to cover the cost of surgery, hospital care, and recovery.
Any amount, no matter how small, will help give him a second chance to walk again.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for reading, sharing, or donating. Your kindness means the world to us.
With gratitude,
Sawitree Phachao and Shane Valente
