BVP Family Displaced by Devastating Fire – Let’s Help!
Dear BVP Community and Friends,
We are reaching out to ask for urgent support for a beloved BVP family who has been deeply impacted by the devastating house fire on Sabin St. in Pawtucket. While their home did not suffer direct fire damage, extensive water damage and rapidly growing mold have made it uninhabitable, forcing them to leave immediately.
The Situation
This family—two loving parents and their two children has lost so much. Although they were able to salvage some sentimental belongings, they are unable to take any of their large household items, leaving them to completely rebuild from the ground up. They have lived in their home for the past four years as exceptional tenants, but now they are faced with the urgent and overwhelming challenge of finding a new place to live in an already difficult housing market.
With the rising cost of housing, securing a new apartment, first month’s rent, and a security deposit is a massive financial burden. They were given no choice but to leave, and now they need our help to regain stability.
How We Can Help
As a strong and supportive BVP community, we are coming together to ease this burden. Our goal is to raise funds to help cover the upfront costs of securing a safe new home for this family.
Any donation—big or small—will make a difference. Funds will go directly toward:
Security deposit & first month’s rent
Other Ways to Support
In addition to financial support, we are also collecting clothing donations for the family. Sizes will be shared soon for those who are able to help in this way.
Let’s Show Up for This Family
This is what community is all about—lifting each other up when times are tough. We know that with your support, we can help this family find stability and hope in the midst of this hardship.
No contribution is too small. Every share, donation, and act of kindness matters.
Thank you for being part of this effort to support a fellow BVP family in need!
With so much gratitude,
