On April 8, 2024, my life changed forever. I was involved in a car fire that destroyed my vehicle and left me with severe burn injuries covering over 50 percent of my body. I survived, but the road to recovery has been long, painful, and ongoing.

Since the fire, I have undergone multiple surgeries, extensive rehabilitation, and continue to manage daily physical and emotional challenges. Losing my vehicle has made recovery even harder. Reliable transportation is essential for medical appointments, therapy, school, and rebuilding independence.

I am currently a nursing student and a burn survivor working every day to move forward after trauma. Replacing my vehicle would allow me to regain a sense of stability, independence, and dignity as I continue healing.
