Help a buddy bounce back - Justin Jehle

My close friend, work colleague (and just an all around great guy), seemed to have had a bad spell of terrible luck. His car recently got broken into, stolen, and as Murphy's Law couldn't have hit any lower, his money and a majority of his valuables were in it too. As a report has been filed, my friend is now carless and on the verge of roughing it. He needs a vehicle so he can go to work and isn't asking much. $1,500 should get a decent set of wheels. Any suggestions or guidance would be much appreciated. Thank you, and hoping for the best, not just for Justin, but for the community on helping community.
