Diana's Doula Training Campaign

Many of you know that for the past two years I have been a community-based doula, primarily in the Bronx and upper Manhattan. It has been incredibly fulfilling to be able to provide physical and emotional support to expectant mothers and their families before, during and after birth. I want to continue to do this important work excellently and help families all the more.

It is my mission and desire to continue to learn and seek professional development in this work. As such I have been reading books on birth, meeting and collaborating with other doulas, as well as attending free trainings whenever possible.

Because of this, I applied for the course "Eat, Pray, Doula Advanced Doula Retreat" in April of 2026. I am happy to share I have been accepted to participate in this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity! During this retreat, I will get to learn alongside other birth workers from across the globe: doulas, midwives and doctors.

I am raising $5,200 to cover the cost of travel to Bali, most meals, lodging and the training. If you have experienced and know of birth stories, then you know how important this work is. With your help, I can make this a reality.

Attending this retreat will give me the opportunity to learn and practice at a slower more immersive pace, allowing me to fully process new strategies.
