This courageous mother is doing everything she can to protect her 9-year-old daughter and build a safe and stable future for them both. They are clients of Safe Passage Heals, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering survivors of domestic violence to rebuild their lives with dignity, hope, and healing. Our mission is to break the cycle of domestic abuse by healing and empowering women and children, enabling them to live new, safe and productive lives.

Recently, this mother was blessed with a vehicle which is essential for school drop offs, work opportunities, and maintaining stability. Unfortunately, the car has nine hundred dollars in past due registration fees that she cannot afford. Without resolving this, she risks losing the transportation they rely on for their daily needs.

At the same time, her daughter is preparing to give testimony to a forensic detective so she will be believed when she shares her experiences in front of a judge about being unsafe with her father. This process is incredibly emotional, but necessary to protect her and ensure her voice is heard.

They currently do not have an attorney due to the cost which leaves them vulnerable during this critical time. Funds raised will help support their legal needs so her daughter can have proper representation and safety in court.
