Help a Brave Mom Recover and Rebuild

UPDATE 1/27/25

2 weeks later and I still can’t walk. It has been very hard adjusting to all this as someone who was very independent, the neglect I have received from doctors is unbelievable and they have left me fighting and looking for hope that my leg gets better. I have no clue as to when I am able to get back on my feet which is devastating because I can’t even take care of my own 10 month old baby.

As many of you may know, January 13th I was crossing the street with my daughter in her stroller when a pick up truck came at me full speed and hit me and ran me over, I was lucky enough to push my daughter out of the way and nothing happened to her but for me unfortunately my leg is super messed up and as of right now I am not able to walk and I have no word on when I will be able to work again. I unfortunately don’t get government assistance and I have rent and bills to pay and will have a lot of hospital bills once I recover and I will also need rehab and therapy and I need to find a way to pay for childcare cost, rent, utilities, food, medical supplies etc.. it’s going to be very hard on my fiancé and I with me being out of work and I hate having to do this because if you know me you know I don’t ask for anything unless I really need too so if there is anything you could do to help out it would be greatly appreciated. Although it could’ve been worse I am very lucky and blessed to be here and I just hope to recover soon so everything can go back to normal.
