My big sister has always been a source of strength and love for her three children, working tirelessly in any way she can to provide for them as a single mom now. Recently, she made the incredibly brave decision to file for divorce and escape a toxic, abusive marriage. The journey has been anything but easy so far—she’s faced every kind of hardship the past 11 years, from emotional and financial stress, abuse, to the pain of seeing her children abused and struggle through this traumatic time.

Despite everything she’s enduring, my sister continues to put her kids first, juggling multiple jobs and doing her best to keep their lives as stable as possible. The weight of the abuse and the challenges of trying to start over have taken a toll on her health and spirit, but she remains determined to create a safe, loving home for her family. She’s currently navigating the legal process, she has sought a protection order, and she’s working to secure therapy for herself and her children so they can begin to heal.

I’m reaching out because my sister and her kids truly need and deserve support right now.
