The early morning of August 9, 2025, my dear sister Elizabeth was shot and harmed. She has been fighting. Elizabeth is an exceptional mom, sister, granddaughter, niece, and friend. Loved by so many. She was shot 7 times! At no fault of her own. She didn't deserve it like any other victim of gun violence. She's a single, hardworking mother who was on track for providing a better life for her and her son. Elizabeth has a long recovery ahead and more than likely will have to be unemployed while she focuses on healing and moving on from this traumatic event.
