Help a Brave Man Begin his new life journey

Hi, my name is Missy. I have a coworker that I work with who has come from a very bad situation. He was not only being mentally, physically, emotionally, and financially abused; this has been going on for a long time, and my work friends and I have been trying to get him out of this situation for over 10 years. Finally, we all sat down the other day and talked him into coming with us and not going back, which left him with nothing but what he had on his back.

I'm just trying to help this man because he spent his whole life helping everyone else, and literally the other day before we decided to do this, he was on his last leg from being so tired, not eating well, just plum mentally worn out. He's the kindest, most loving soul, and I would love to see it get back to him. We are trying to get him into a place to live on his own, but he literally came with nothing and needs everything. He is very nervous because he hasn't done it on his own for years, and he's been so brainwashed by the people he lived with that he just doesn't know where to start. So any kind of love that you could show him, he would greatly appreciate it. If you can't donate anything, just say a prayer for him to make this happen. He does work 40 hours a week and is not in the best health, but he wants to work as long as he can. He just now got to receive his first paycheck after 10 years of somebody taking it the whole time.
