In April 2024, a Gaza nurse was seriously injured when an attack changed his life permanently. His right side of the body was hit the worst, and he lost his right eye and both legs, suffering serious injuries.

Despite having undergone prolonged and challenging treatment for his right leg, doctors have now decided that amputation would be the most suitable solution to help him have a chance towards leading a better life. An artificial leg is what he needs urgently so that he can walk again, regain independence, and continue pursuing his strength and future goals.
