Help a Brave Firefighter Heal After Loss
Donativo protegido
Hi everyone, I’m reaching out today to ask for your help on behalf of my dear friend Ryan Kimberling, a 23-year-old firefighter who has dedicated his life to protecting others. Recently, Ryan faced a heartbreak that no one is ever truly prepared for: the sudden loss of his beloved dog, Pierce, a beautiful 2.5-year-old Dalmatian who passed away due to a brain tumor.
Pierce wasn’t just a pet — he was family. He was a loyal companion, a source of comfort after long and often traumatic shifts, and a constant reminder of the good in the world. As any first responder will tell you, the emotional toll of the job is immense. For Ryan, Pierce was the one who grounded him — always there with a wagging tail and gentle eyes after a hard day. When Pierce suddenly began showing signs of illness, Ryan rushed him to the vet. After numerous tests, scans, and emergency care, it was discovered that Pierce had a brain tumor. Despite their best efforts and the vet’s dedicated care, his condition quickly worsened. He passed peacefully, surrounded by love.
The vet bills created an unexpected financial burden for Ryan, who already works tirelessly to serve his community. I’m hoping we can come together and show this young firefighter the same support and compassion he gives to others every single day. If you can’t donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser. Let’s honor Pierce's memory by helping Ryan heal — not just emotionally, but financially. Thank you for your love, support, and kindness.
With gratitude,
