She has been battling cancer for years with unmatched courage, faith, and resilience. No matter how many times life has knocked her down, she’s stood up and fought harder.

Right now, she needs our help more than ever. Her insurance has changed, and her copays for treatment have drastically increased. She gets treatments once every 2 weeks. My name is Yanet, and my journey with cancer began in July 2017, when I was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer (4N). Only a few months later, in October 2017, doctors found that the cancer had metastasized to my spine and pelvis—the same advanced stage.

In May 2018, I underwent surgery to remove my right breast, but the fight didn’t end there. Shortly after, I was diagnosed with skin cancer, which turned out to be hormone-related and very aggressive. Since then, I have never stopped chemotherapy. I have gone through different treatments, always holding onto faith and strength.

In May 2019, I had to undergo another surgery to remove my ovaries because of the hormone-driven cancer. The treatments helped stabilize my condition for a time, but later, the metastasis in my spine and pelvis reactivated. Not long after, a new tumor appeared in my right arm, along with lymphedema that causes swelling and pain.

Despite everything, I continue to fight with faith and courage every single day. My treatments are constant, and I remain hopeful that I can continue this battle with the same strength that has carried me this far.

Recently, my insurance changed, and my copays have increased drastically, making it extremely difficult to cover the ongoing cost of chemotherapy, medications, and essential care. This has been weighing heavy on me because I feel the treatments are the only thing keeping me alive and I have so much desire to keep on going...

Esta recaudación de fondos es para mi prima Yanet, la mujer más fuerte que conozco y una luchadora incansable. Yanet ha estado enfrentando el cáncer durante años con una valentía, fe y fortaleza que inspiran a todos los que la conocemos. A pesar de todo lo que ha pasado, nunca se ha rendido.

Hoy necesita nuestra ayuda más que nunca. Su seguro médico cambió, y los copagos de sus tratamientos han aumentado drásticamente. Ella necesita tratamientos cada dos semanas.

Mi nombre es Yanet, y mi historia con el cáncer comenzó en julio del 2017, cuando me diagnosticaron cáncer de mama etapa 4N. Solo unos meses después, en octubre del 2017, los doctores descubrieron que el cáncer se había extendido a la columna vertebral y a la pelvis, en la misma etapa avanzada.

En mayo del 2018, me realizaron una cirugía para remover el seno derecho, pero la lucha no terminó ahí. Poco después me diagnosticaron cáncer de la piel, que resultó ser hormonal y muy agresivo. Desde entonces nunca he dejado de recibir quimioterapia, pasando por diferentes tratamientos con mucha fe y esperanza.

En mayo del 2019, me tuvieron que remover los ovarios debido a que el cáncer hormonal era muy agresivo. Los tratamientos lograron controlar el cáncer por un tiempo, pero después el cáncer metastásico en la columna y la pelvis volvió a activarse. Luego me apareció un tumor en el brazo derecho, además de linfedema, que causa hinchazón y dolor.

A pesar de todo, sigo luchando cada día con fe, amor y valentía. Mis tratamientos continúan, y mantengo la esperanza de seguir adelante con la misma fuerza que me ha sostenido hasta ahora.

Recientemente, mi seguro médico cambió, y ahora los copagos son extremadamente altos, lo que hace muy difícil cubrir los gastos continuos de quimioterapia, medicamentos y atención médica. Esto me ha estado pesando mucho porque siento que los tratamientos son lo único que me mantiene con vida y yo tengo muchas ganas de seguir...

Con humildad pido su ayuda y apoyo. Cada donación, por pequeña que sea, me acerca un paso más a poder seguir luchando por mi vida.
