Help a Boricua First-Gen Student Reach Her College Dream
Donation protected
Hola, I’m Valerie Jimenez, a first-generation student from Puerto Rico. I’ve worked hard to get where I am, and I’m proud to say I’ve been accepted to Assumption University to study Environmental Sciences to become a Marine Biologist. This is a huge step for me, one I’m doing entirely on my own. I don’t have financial support from family, so every part of this journey depends on my own effort and the kindness of those who believe in education.
I’ve applied for scholarships and financial aid, and I’m doing everything I can to make it work. This fundraiser is a way for me to bridge the gap and keep moving forward. Your support will go directly toward funding my education and living expenses.
If you’re able to contribute, thank you from the bottom of my heart. And if not, sharing this means just as much. I’m grateful for anyone willing to be part of this chapter with me.
With gratitude,
Valerie Jimenez
