Hello siblings!

For those who don't know me, I go by Brandon Nick. I'm a queer Caribbean-American filmmaker, photographer, and podcaster.

My job of 6 years let me go this week, the week before Christmas - due to budget cuts. This was unexpected and placed me in a tough spot.

In addition to losing my main source of income, I've also lost access to a computer and Adobe Suite, and photography/film gear since those were the property of my employer. which means I can't take any editing gigs or continue any of my projects. I also can't film the interviews I had for my documentary (that I'm doing on the gay Jamaican legend Moi Renee!)

As the new year approaches, I'm taking this as a sign that the universe is clearing a path for something greater. Like being an artist full-time! But I need a boost to get started. So I'm raising money to buy myself a laptop and editing software, to pay rent as well as my needed medical bills for my mental diagnoses and other necessary bills (phone, internet, etc.) while I look for freelance opportunities and employment.
