Hi Ashley here, I made this gfm to help raise funds to help me move out and on with my life. Below is my story, thanks for taking the time to read it!
I am a 23 y/o Liberian American. I am a native from Washington state and now live in Dallas, Tx and I dabble in music and other hobbies. I grew up in a lower middle class household; youngest of 4 siblings. My dad is a first generation immigrant and my mother is from Scooba, Ms. My mom is the more present one in my life because my dad is a narcissist and functioning alcoholic. With that being said, at the moment I am asking for help raising funds to sustain housing and to move away from the abusive unstable/& unsupportive household I am in. I am currently unemployed due to covid. And as I have been denied any government assistance it has been extremely difficult maintaining stability and saving all while protecting myself, my parents and sibling during this pandemic. I plan to provide myself with long term housing but am only asking a little boost. I am only trying to gain funds for first, last & deposit for stable housing, somewhere short term or long term. Currently, I have been looking on airbnb and apartment complexes that both range from $900+.
Lastly, I just want to take a moment to say I appreciate anyone taking the time to read my story!!!! Anything that is given is more than appreciated and any remaining funds will be redistributed!
