Hey y’all, I’m reaching out today for help to clear up some debts that URGENTLY need to be dealt with. I am someone that is constantly on their grind with work and gigs to handle as much as I can on my own but unfortunately dealing with several hard financial blows in the past 5 years (losing and struggling with my income when the pandemic hit, having to move multiple times over the past four years, paying for storage, transportation and moving costs, rent and maintaining these spaces when I was a tenant and the bills that were accrued) has been a HUGE financial drain to continue to dig out of when trying to stay afloat. I currently have a bill from a previous apartment that has gone to debt collectors and needs to be paid in FULL as well as a debt at my current apartment that needs to be addressed immediately in order to clear the slate before it becomes even more detrimental to both my previous and current roommates. In both cases, so many avenues of assistance have been explored and come up not fruitful so we are asking the community at large to help us pull through, not just for my sake but for the others involved.

Last month was especially upsetting having to drop out of a major paying gig due to getting Covid and then losing my job immediately after Halloween that has blown out my plans to be able to tackle a majority of these debts on my own. We are now getting into the slow months gig wise and although I am applying for unemployment and applying to new jobs, I am currently without a paycheck until then and am in uncertain territory as I don’t know how long it will take to finally get unemployment as well as new sources of income.

I’m reaching out to ask for support with these endeavors and really need this to push through. It’s hard for me to crowdfund because I often don’t have my goals met and it’s discouraging to keep pushing and asking for help when there is little response. I appreciate every single person who has supported me and contributed in the past and I’m asking today to make this the last time I need to do a push like this because it is such an exhausting process, especially in a current economy where I know we are all struggling. My goal is $4,000 to clear out this previous debt that ABSOLUTELY MUST be handled by the end of November and to handle the debt that is accumulating at my current apartment that needs to be managed.

I want to be able to continue to do the work and artistry I love and show up for the people in my life and it’s hard working from a financial, mental and physical deficit. I push through a lot and don’t like to share my personal life but all of this is truly holding me back from being able to not just survive but to thrive.
